Department Profile

The main objective of the department is to provide a forum in which the participants obtain information about the advanced emerging technologies. Department involves and aims at the collaboration process from both industry and academics. To enhance the quality of learning we move forward to more collaborations and interactions with the industry that helps our students to brace themselves for working in the industry.

The institution leaves an indelible mark on the lives of its students, concerning them to a great career and challenging them to discover and define their functional roles in the industry. Program Educational Objectives

PEO 1. Graduates will be provided with a solid foundation in mathematical, engineering fundamentals and strengthened with fundamental concepts of Computer Science & Engineering along with advanced knowledge on emerging technologies to devise solutions for real time & social issues.

PEO 2. Graduates will be engineering professionals employed in software industries, pursue higher studies, innovators or entrepreneurs engaged in technology development, technology deployment and system development.

PEO 3. Graduates will be engaged in research leading to innovations and contribute to the economic growth of the country.

PEO 4. Graduates will function in their profession with social awareness, responsibility and good ethics.

Program Specific Outcome

PSO 1. Get hands-on experience on different technologies and manage projects successfully as an individual member and team leader by applying the knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles in multidisciplinary environments.

PSO 2. Ability to understand and develop customize, efficient solutions for real-world and complex problems by thinking out of the box and ability to engage in life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

Program Outcome

ENGINEERING KNOWLEDGE: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PROBLEM ANLYSIS: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT OF SOLUTIONS: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

CONDUCT INVESTIGATIONS OF COMPLEX PROBLEMS: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

MODERN TOOL USAGE: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

THE ENGINEER AND SOCIETY: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

ETHICS: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
