To be a center of excellence in the academics, technical skills, research and entrepreneurship in Computer Science and Engineering and its applications.
Program Educational Objective (PEO) is what the programme is preparing graduates for in their career and professional life. Our current PEOs are as follow:
PEO 1 -Building strong foundation in mathematics, computer science and engineering fundamentals, analytical and problem solving skills required to solve real-world problems with out-of-the-box thinking ability.
PEO 2 - Inculcating lifelong learning ability in order to adapt to rapidly changing industry requirements and generating innovative engineering solutions using research and multi-disciplinary knowledge.
PEO 3 - Imparting good academic environment which inculcates excellence in professionalism, ethics, moral values and passion towards higher-education, research, innovation and entrepreneurship to become professional engineers leading to a successful career.
PSO 1: -Excel in the Algorithmic skills, programming skills and demonstrate the technical competency by developing efficient algorithms for complex problems.
PSO 2 - Apply the concepts of computer science and engineering to analyze, design, develop, test and maintain robust and efficient software applications in the areas of desktop / web applications, mobile application, network based applications, Internet of things, cyber security, artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
PSO 3 -Enhance and/or develop new technologies and tools by applying appropriate programming paradigm / techniques that includes innovation and optimization to provide solutions to existing / new problems thereby contributing to the betterment of society.
In an era that is powered and driven by Internet of Technology (IOT) devices and Artificial intelligence (AI), computer science engineers are required in every nook and corner of the world from small scale industries to sophisticated workstations. From games developer to manager of Information Technology and communications services, a computer science graduate can find opportunities in the software sector, consultancies, and major corporations, where they offer digital solutions to contemporary issues.
Ranging from computer professionals to the global leading corporate leaders, computer engineers mark an important placement in every establishment. There is a huge requirement of computer professional in today’s era. The computer sector is the highly payable sector these days. At S V College of Engineering -Computer Engineering course there are many on campus job opportunities provided to the students to start their career before they complete their studies.
