The speaker of this webinar is Mr. K. Ankit who is working as Scientist @ CMTI Bangalore and we are happy to have him as guest speaker as part of IEEE SB, CS & IEEE inaugural. As part of to explain the importance of Research and tips to the students for doing Research. Speaker has demonstrated live examples of research ideas in different domains across the globe. The participants are from II & III year students.

Student Innovation Cell

Introduction: SVCK, since its inception in the year 2016, has strived to adopt innovative practices to improve the learning environment.

Aim: The aim of the Innovation Cell is to promote the Industry — Institute interaction

Objectives:

  • Promote time-bound solutions and product development culture among the students and staff of SVCK.
  • Promote the culture of standardized documentation and quality consciousness among the students and staff of SVCK.
  • Provide industries with cost-effective solutions to the nagging problems in their products.

Dr .M Chandra Sekhar Reddy, HOD –ECE – SVCK awarded with Ph.D on 09-02-21 from JNTUA ECE with Specialization of VLSI.

STUDENT PROJECTS

Automatic hand sanitizer uses a :-

  • Sensor : for detection of your hand
  • motor : to pump the sanitizer from the bottom to top
  • Resistor : to control voltage
  • Small Container : to pour the sanitizer.

An Autonomous Robot for Intelligent Security Systems

  • An autonomous robot has been a popular technology which is widely used in many areas.
  • This Robot design is about researching and investigating hazardous environments, exploration, remote assistance and Military services.
  • It monitors and identifies the motion in achieving better security and surveillance of indoor environments.
  • This robotic system has different systems such as robotic arms, , ultrasonic sensor , a visionary system , fire sensor, etc.

Design and Development of Gas Leakage Monitoring System using Arduino and ZigBee

  • To prevent Gas leakage in industries from happening.
  • Combustible gas sensor (MQ9) was used in order to detect the presence of methane (CH4) and carbon monoxide gas (CO).
  • Concentration of the gas will be detected and an alarm system works accordingly
  • Selected for International Conference at Mumbai .
